Welcome to Fire in the Desert Ministries

 Exodus 3:2

“There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush.”

The Word of God is inexhaustible, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit is profound. If you rely solely on church leaders, programs, or relationships, you may eventually feel disappointed. Those things are valuable and have their place, but they may not always be available when you need them most.

As you become less dependent on earthly systems and more focused on Almighty God, you begin to see your earthly needs fall into place. It’s not easy, and finding balance can take time—but the journey is well worth it.

 Fire in the Desert

Welcome to Fire in the Desert Ministries. My name is Tsehai Almaz. I am an Evangelist and my website is rooted in faith, reflection, and a personal walk with Jesus. In a changing world, this blog explores what it means to live out Christianity with purpose, trust, and reliance on God’s guidance rather than people or programs. The journey isn’t always easy, but it’s meaningful and worth it. May the information on my site inspire you, help you, guide you, and bless you.

Growing up in the Midwest, Christianity wasn’t just part of my upbringing—it shaped everyday life and culture. Holidays, laws, and even social interactions reflected a shared Christian understanding. Even those who didn’t practice the faith were generally respectful and mindful of what might be offensive. Those days and ideologies have largely faded. Today, Christians can’t take anything for granted, and living a Christian life is not for the faint of heart.

I never imagined growing up that I would be involved in ministry. Yet I’ve learned that the only way to truly “survive” Christianity is to discover what God has called you to do through a personal relationship with Jesus. That phrase is repeated so often it can sound cliché—but its importance cannot be overstated.

The Word of God is inexhaustible, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit is profound. If you rely solely on church leaders, programs, or relationships, you may eventually feel disappointed. Those things are valuable and have their place, but they may not always be available when you need them most.
